Not only are we SEAI Registered BER Assessors, who have trained under the National Framework of Qualifications, we are also fully qualified registered Architects and members of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (MRIAI). Niall Phelan is also a member of the BER Assessors Association of Ireland.

As of the 1st January 2009, in accordance with EU Legislation, every house or apartment whether it is a new build or an existing property for sale or rent must have a Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificate. A seller must provide a BER Certificate to prospective buyers or tenants when a house is constructed, sold or rented.

A Building Energy Rating for a building is valid for 10 years from the date it is issued, unless there is a material change in the building, which could affect its energy performance.
